I’m sure this is an example of what not to do. I’m sitting in the MTCC at the last OLA superconference planning meeting before the conference in February.
Although I didn’t learn too much from the management class I took during my MLIS, I do remember the video “Meetings, bloody meetings”. I feel this should be mandatory viewing for all librarians, actually for all humankind that work with others.
So much I just don’t need to know. I guess I’m just too succint when I write and speak. I’ve never been very verbose and don’t quite get people who are.
Ok, on the good side, things are looking really good. We’ve got rooms mapped out, pre-registration looks good. Lots of fun and educational events and sessions planned!
