Students spend 10 days in library

Campus News: Students dream big
: “Alvin Shin and Joanna Sue began a 10-day stay in the lobby of Queen’s University’s Stauffer Library at midnight Jan. 27 for a special cause. ‘Mission: Ultimate Stauffer Lockdown’ (M.U.S.L.) will raise money for the construction of educational facilities in South-East Asia through Room to Read Canada”

Students are so awesome! So I guess their sit-in is over and they have their results posted on their site: http://www.queensdream.ca
They raised $7000, enough for 2 of their projects (a scholarship and a school library).
Way to go!

Update: You have to go look at the “trailer” they made for their event. I particularly love storytime! Great use of library space!
