Typographical errors

I’m finally going through and typing up the feedback from delegates at the OLA superconference on our OLITA sessions. While I don’t think I can actually share with you any of the feedback (it’s, like, confidential) I can share with you a couple of chuckles I’ve gotten.

The comments are transcribed from all the itty-bitty sheets on to one master sheet and I’m now typing from the big sheets into my laptop. It seems the volunteers may have been day-dreaming when transcribing and so I’ve had to doublecheck a few.

We have the “first 3 letters are the same” writer:
persuasive written for pertinent

We have the “let’s make it better” writer:
techie written as trekkie

And we have the “WTF!?!” writer:
sharks written instead of charts

I think the trekkie error would’ve been funny to send to the speaker; I almost didn’t bother to check that one! (If only I could show you the context of that one…damn privacy!)
