Nunavut Public Library Services gets new building

On May 8th NPLS celebrated the official opening of their new headquarters building. You can see a Powerpoint slideshow of some pictures taken during the celebration. It looks like they all had a great time!

Visit the NPLS website to learn more about this library. I really like how they take the time to explain why and how to use unicode to see syllabics. Currently the website is only in English but Inuktitut, Inuinnaqtun, and French translations are on their way (according to the site). While you’re there, take a look at their community libraries too, like Kitikmeot.
