I write good

In my local paper today there is a story about a house fire that happened yesterday.

“No people were home”

That just sounds off to me. What’s wrong with “Nobody”?

  1. Maybe there were no people were home, but maybe the animals and aliens in the home didn’t make it out πŸ˜‰

  2. yeah the article did emphasize that the firefighters rescued a dog…but still it sounded weird the way the sentence was thrown in.

No mention of aliens, so perhaps they were rescued by their UFO.

  3. Lol, I had the same thought about pets and aliens. I’m not sure why I was thinking of aliens but pretty spooky. Maybe they want us to know they’re ok. πŸ˜‰
