Nominate your library for the OLITA Award for Technological Innovation

The deadline is quickly approaching but there’s still time to nominate your library for the OLITA Award for Technological Innovation. Every year the Ontario Library and Information Technology Association recognizes the best example of technological innovation in one of four categories.

Has your Ontario Library created, invented, or implemented an application that benefits users or eases library operations? Have you instituted a technological innovation that demonstrates “partnerships and strategic alliances with industry, the community and other institutions”? If so, you may have a winner!

I know libraries in Ontario are doing some cool things, so don’t be modest, go fill out the 2008 Nomination form! Deadline is November 15th!

Maybe you think you haven’t done much and you need inspiration, check out the list of past recipients of this award .

The winner of the 2008 award will be announced at Super Conference 2008! I’ll see you there!
